“涂鸦”由于其最初的生成原因和环境,导致其自出现以来本身就带有一种反传统、反主流的后现代、亚文化特质。它肆无忌惮的表达情感,自由创作的无秩序性,极大的颠覆了传统的审美。刚开始并不能称为一种艺术为大众所接受,大多存在于偏僻的“地下”空间中。它在发展过程中由于所处文化环境的变化,产生了一些符合公众审美的作品,慢慢成为一种公共艺术进入大众的视野,开始被主流艺术所接受。其艺术形式多样,表现手法创新,受到了年轻人群的喜爱和追捧,一些艺术设计师们开始挖掘其商业价值,涂鸦艺术被引用到时尚潮流以及广告设计等行业中,赋予产品和设计以新的艺术价值,使涂鸦文化向更加多元更符合人们审美追求的方向发展。
