1990年儿童问题世界首脑会议通过的《儿童问题宣言》及落实这一宣言制订的《90年代行动纲要》明确提出,2000年要在全球实际消除对人类健康危害较重的三种微营养素缺乏即碘、维生素 A和铁缺乏。作为本次会议的后继会议,1991年10月有关国际组织和机构在加拿大蒙特利尔以消除隐藏饥饿为题召开了消除微营养素缺乏的政策和技术研讨会。会议提出的实现上述目标的基本策略是各有关国家建立国家计划并动员国际社会予以支持和援助。 The declaration of children adopted at the 1990 World Summit for Children and the “90s” of the Platform for Action formulated in the implementation of this declaration clearly put forward the need to effectively eliminate, in the world, the three micronutrient deficiencies that actually endanger human health in 2000 Iodine, vitamin A and iron deficiency. As a follow-up conference to this meeting, relevant international organizations and agencies organized a policy and technical seminar on eliminating micronutrient deficiencies in October 1991 in Montreal, Canada, to eliminate hidden hunger. The basic strategy put forward by the conference to achieve the above objectives is that all countries concerned establish national plans and mobilize the support and assistance from the international community.
