4月20日,上海高级金融学院建立十周年庆典上,中国证监会副主席方星海表示:“去年我国经济还出现了一个不容易被注意到、但却意义深远的变化,就是经常账户基本平衡,几乎转为逆差,这是自1993年以来未曾有过的。”他认为,经常账户逆差表示一国自己的储蓄不足以支持投资,需要外资来弥补缺口,“尚不知道今后几年我国经常账户会是怎样,但随着人口老龄化加剧和年轻人开始借钱消费,可以肯定的是,长期大量顺差已经不可能。”
