一、学情分析
三年级的学生生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛、特别感兴趣。学生学英语不久,课堂上应以表扬激励为主,注重培养学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱。同时,应抓住学生喜爱动物这一有利因素,加强对学生进行保护动物的教育。
二、教学目标
1、知识目标:(1)能在语境中运用What’s that? It’s a ….来交流物品信息,能够听说、认读bird, elephant, tiger, panda, monkey等几种动物的名称;(2)能听懂一些简单的指示语,并能按照指令模仿动物做出相应的动作。
2、能力目标:能够在图片、实物或情境的帮助下运用句型What's this? It's a ...询问并回答名称.
3、情感目标:培养学生的合作精神以及爱护动物、保护动物的意识。
三、教学重难点
1、教学重点:能够听说、认读bird, elephant, tiger, panda, monkey等几种动物的名称;2、教学难点:如何记住这些单词,并在实际生活中运用这些单词,学生模仿动物的形体动作Act like a…..。

五、教学过程
Step1:Warming-up and lead-in
T: Good morning, boys and girls. (师生问好)
T: Good morning, boys and girls.Ss: Good morning, teacher.T: Nice to see you.Ss: Nice to see you, too.Boys and girls, let’s sing a song.
[老师播放 “Hello”音乐,同学跟唱。]
Step2:Let’s learn
①T: Sounds great! Boys and girls, Would you like to go on a trip with me?你们想和我一起去旅行吗?T: OK! Let’s go.T: Wow! Look, where are we? 看,同学们我们来到了哪里?(播放ppt)T: Very good! We are at the zoo.我们来到了动物园。(播放ppt并拿出词卡)Now, read after me. zoo S1: (同学开火车形式往下读)
②T: Good job! Now, boys and girls, Let’s guess, what animals are there at the zoo? T: Listen! What’s that? (板书)听,这是什么?T: Great! It’s a ... Bird.这是一只鸟。(拿出鸟的卡片) Read after me.Now, show me your finger. 把你的手指拿出来跟我一起写。b-i-r-d bird(板书) b /b/ d /d/ /b?:d/ bird It’s a bird.
③T: Great! Now, listen who’s coming?(播放老虎的叫声)What’s that? Yes, it’s a ... tiger.那是只老虎。(拿出老虎卡片) Read after me. tiger. t-i-g-e-r tiger (板书) t /t/ g /g/ /ta?/ /g?/ tiger . It’s a tiger. (两遍),开火车读、男女读。
④T: 露出大象的鼻子猜动物,what’s that ? Good! It’s an ... Elephant.那是只大象。 Read after me. elephant ,Show me your finger. e-l-e-p-h-a-n-t elephant (板书)an elephant ,You please. It’s an elephant.分组读。Let’s play a game(find a card),根据声音的大小找卡。
⑤T: Excellent!Who likes bamboo? It has big black eyes. Guess, what’s that? 猜猜那是什么动物?Good job! It’s a .... Panda. (播放ppt)Read after mePanda p /p/ n /n/ d /d/ /p?n/ /d?/ panda (板书), It’s a panda。
⑥T:Great! Boys and girls, look at me. (老师表演猴子的动作),who am I ?T: Good! It’s a ... Monkey.(播放ppt)T: Read after me. monkey .m-o-n-k-e-y monkey (板书) m /m/ n n /n/ k k /k/ /m??/ /k?/ monkey, It’s a monkey。
⑦Let’s chant(自编歌谣)
T: Excellent! Now, look at here. Let’s have a chant use these words。(播放ppt)
Step3: Let’s do
T: You did a good job! Do you like monkey? S:Yes.T:Can you act like a monkey?S:Yes.學生做一个动作,OK. Let’s see.(播放Let’s do视频)T: Let’s do after the vedio, OK?我们跟着视频做动作。 Well done! Now, let’s say and do. 我们一起边说边表演动作。OK, now,It’s time for group work.现在跟你的小伙伴一起做,同学之间互相发指令做动作。Games:击鼓传花;教师播放音乐,学生传花,音乐停止时花传到哪位学生的手里,学生表演动物的动作。
总结这节课所学单词,用这节课的动物单词改编Hello歌曲。Let’s sing a song like this。(播放旋律)Ss: (学生跟着旋律唱)
Step4:出示动物与人(学生、老师)在一起的友好相处的照片给学生欣赏,送一句话:All the animals are our friends, we should love animals.
Step5:Homework
T: Boys and girls, you did a good job today! Here comes your homework。
