A similar and familiar device (U.S. Patent No. 3,303,831) consists of two valves which are arranged on the piston close to the hydraulic fluid chamber associated with the valve. Each valve has a valve spring that presses the valve body against the valve seat. There is a full oil gallery between the two valves about the direction of piston travel. The inertia force of these oils acts on one of the valve members at a time, intended to open it. In addition, the force exerted by the valve element is increased by the inertial force in the same direction of the valve itself. However, the valve is still under the pre-pressure of the valve spring, so the reaction is a little later.
