水稻成熟种子在组织培养过程中受着其所带胚乳量的影响。种子的胚乳量愈少,则始愈期愈早,愈伤组织的胚性愈强,分化率愈高;反之,种子所带的胚乳量愈多,则始愈期推迟,愈伤组织的出愈速度、早期愈伤组织生长速度愈快,但后期愈伤组织的生长速度下降得愈快,受胚乳代谢残留物质的毒害愈强,愈伤组织的分化率愈弱。这样,根据研究的需要采用不同胚乳量的种子进行组培试验,以便达到理想的试验目的。
