由中国国家科委和亚洲遥感协会联合主办的第十一届亚洲遥感会于1990年11月15日～21日在广州隆重召开。来自亚洲、太平洋地区及欧美国家和联合国有关组织的500多名代表参加了会议。会议期间,代表们交流了各国遥感技术的进展,商讨了地区或各国间的遥感技术合作,介绍了遥感技术在亚太各国经济开发中的应用。会议内容涉及到遥感技术在农业、林业、水资源、海洋、地质、环境、自然灾 The 11th Asian Remote Sensing Association, jointly sponsored by the Chinese State Science and Technology Commission and the Asian Remote Sensing Association, was held in Guangzhou from November 15 to 21, 1990.
