利福平是肝脏药物代谢酶的诱导剂。据报告,应用利福平可促进避孕丸的排泄而导致月经障碍和意外的妊娠。利福平亦可影响D_(860)、己基巴比妥和口服抗凝剂的代谢。本文报告2例患者,因应用利福平而影响类固醇激素的代谢。为此,作者又对另7例患者进行观察。结果表明,利福平可降低强的松龙的作用及生物效应。本文报告的2例中,一例为16岁男性,患类风湿性关节炎,因肺部出现阴影疑为肺结核,故用利福平加异烟肼治疗。因诊断不确而加用强的松龙30mg/日,治疗6周,胸片及临床症状无改善。将强的松龙渐减至10mg/日,治疗一年,患者情况仍无改善,后遂停用抗痨药物,将强的松龙增至开始投药时的剂量(30mg/日),治疗6周,X线所见和临床症状明显改善,
Rifampicin is an inducer of hepatic drug-metabolizing enzymes.
