There is information that the “person” in “I look down on people day by day” in “a small matter” means “reactionary ruler”. In this regard, I think it is wrong. First of all, from the point of “growth bad temper,” which is “a day-to-day look down on people”, I think that the “person” in the “understanding person” mentioned in the novel does not refer to the “reactionary ruler” alone. It should mean “all people.” This can be understood by perusing the paragraph at the beginning of the novel. The beginning of the novel reads, “I have been running from the country to the capital for a blink of an eye for six years. The so-called national events that I saw and heard during the period are very numerous. But I have no trace in my heart. If I want to find out The impact of these things is to teach me to look down on people day after day.” It is precisely because during the six years that “I” ran from the countryside to the capital, he witnessed many so-called national events, such as: Zhang Xun’s restoration, Yuan Shikai’s emperorship made me feel embarrassed, skeptical, and even more pessimistic and disappointed. It also increased my bad temper. This growing “bad temper” means “teach me to look down on people day after day. ”Because my temper is bad and I look down on people, and this momentum is “a day-to-day increase,” “I” feels uncomfortable with everything in front of me. Therefore, when “a small thing” happens, “I” naturally has "not to see
