All of the human beings depicted in his works come from his familiar southern region, forming a huge Yakupapa lineage. This article intends to discuss Faulkner’s Southern feelings from the writing background of Faulkner’s Rose for Emily, Emily’s tragedy and the symbolism of black Toby.
