论文部分内容阅读
本篇是360词左右的议论文,关于颜色对生活重要影响。不同的颜色会给人不同的感觉,在着装、送礼、面试、商业等活动中,根据交往的目的而选择合适的颜色,将会产生良好的效果。
主要教学目标为:学生能够找出每个段落的大意并加以归纳提炼,能够组合每个段落的大意写出整篇文章的概要。
Step1. Lead -in
课堂开始,老师就给学生呈现各种颜色的图片,导入话题,与学生互动交流。
Q1:Do you like these colours ? Q2:What is your feeling when you see these colours?
Q3: what’s your favouriate colour? Why?
[设计意图]教师通过导入话题,学生交流各自喜欢的颜色及原因,激发学生对于话题的探讨兴趣。
Step2. Reading
教师首先让学生快速浏览全文,找出文章的论题(issue for discussion),并能利用supporting sentences 进行分析,提炼主题句。
Q1: How many colours mentioned in this text? Q2; What’s the function of purple, orange, gold, navy, blue, red, black, according to the text?
收集学生对各种颜色功能的理解,提炼主题句:the colour we choose affect our mood,our career prospects and even our health.也就是课文的第一段大意。
2.教师接着引导学生仔细阅读第二段,找出其中一个论点(argument),并找出支持该论点的supporting detailes.
Q1: What’s the power of colour in our lives today? Q2: What do companies use colour for?
从这两方面出发引导学生得出一个论点:Companies use color to encourage customers to buy their products.
3.教师接着通过提问继续引导学生阅读课文第四段,找出其中的论点,并找出支持该论点的支撑点。
Q1: Why we say colours are a powerful tool? Q2: Why people choose blue?
从这段我们可以得出the colour you wear and the gift you choose may affect you.
通过对问题的解决使学生对文章的整体内容有个大致的把握,这对后续的概要写作有很大的帮助。
Step 3. Analyzing
在学生完成文本阅读后,教师引导学生对文章结构进一步加以分析,找出每段的关键句,再用合适的语言表述每一部分的主旨大意。
T: Go through the passage all over again and put them into seneral parts. Try to summarize the main idea of each part in one sentence. Part1:expert argue that the colours we choose affect our mood, career and health. Part2: psychologists and therapists use colours for medical treatments Part3:companies use colour to encourage customers to buy products. Part4:wearing different colours can affect how you feel and how others react to you.
在这一环节中学生重点理解篇章结构和段落大意,列出原文提纲。要求学生不照搬文章中原句来进行毫无意义的堆砌,学会准确地概括和整理每个部分的信息。
Step4. Writing
完成这篇文章的阅读和分析之后,教师要求学生以段落大意为依据写出文章概要。
以下是一位学生的初稿:Experts argue that colours we choose influence our mood,career prospects and health.
Psychologists and therapists use colours as medical treatments. Companies use colour to encourage us to buy their products. Wearing different colours can affect how you feel and how others react to you .
教師在引导学生通过段落大意初步建构概要语篇。到这里初稿就形成了。
Step5. Improving
教师在学生完成初稿之后,利用PPT呈现概要写作的要求,然后再次组织学生分组讨论,互相交换文章,对照要求进行修改。T: Please pay attention to the following requirements

我们教师在这里就要指导学生运用多样化的句式,以及句子之间的连接词,让这个语篇内容连贯顺畅。教师最后呈现学生修改之后的文章:More and more people are arguing that colours influence our mood, career and health. First, more psychologists and therapists believe that colous can help cure mental illness. Second, companies even use colours to attract customers. Third, the colours of the clothes we wear affect both how we feel and how others behave towards us, espacially during interviews or examinations. Fourth, the colours of gifts affect the impression you leave on others.
教师在这里引导学生养成修改的好习惯,有助于学生树立正确的评价反思意识。也能磨炼学生的耐心和自信心。
