Recently read “Li Dazhao three to Shanghai,” a text, feel the content is not accurate or need to comment on the need. The article said: “Comrade Li Dazhao, one of the founders of the CCP, did not even attend the first big CCP because of his busy schedule. However, he came to Shanghai three times for the revolution in China.” “The first time is late August 1922.” In fact, according to the author’s information, Li Dazhao did not come to Shanghai for more than three times for the sake of the Chinese revolution, nor was it the first time in August 1922. Li Dazhao first arrived in Shanghai in January 1916 by the end of January. At that time, he studied at Waseda University in Tokyo, secretly engaged in anti-Yuan activities among Japanese students. At the time when Yuan Shikai was busy restoring the monarchy and accepted the “Article 21” proposed by the Japanese imperialists, Li Dazhao wrote with indignation “Warning the Father of the Nation,” exposing the Japanese imperialist desire to perish China and conspiracy to restore Yuan, and distributed the whole country. In order to extensively contact people from all walks of life, he came to Shanghai in January 1916 and worked in a tense day and night to discuss everything against the Yuan against him. The stranded in Shanghai for two weeks, returned to Tokyo in mid-February.
