铸钢车间中的电爐位置,在保证工艺操作和钢水质量的情况下,还要考虑与土建、电力、通风、给排水等设计的关系,使多方面都达到经济合理。10吨以上的电爐,如ДСВ—10型或ДСВ—20型的电爐,有复杂的油压系统以及电气装置,往往设有地下室,这就要求考虑更多的问题。电爐布置一般应满足下述要求: (1) 电爐应接近爐料仓库,运料要方便;接近合箱、浇铸工段,运钢水方便;另外并要考虑出渣方便等。因此,在布置时应使这些工序能在吊车操作的地区内进行。 (2) 保证吊车能吊起爐盖、电极、爐衬和修爐材料等,并能运至需要的地区。 (3) 电爐和电爐变电所地区要有良好的通风;国内机械制造厂铸钢车间电爐利用自然通风的较多。 (4) 有关土建公用设计应该经济合理。地下水(?)深度影响电爐标高的决定。
