今年秋季开始使用的初中《几何》第二册,是在全日制十年制初中课本《几何》第一、二册的基础上修改而成的。本文仅就其中第七章圆的教学谈几点建议,供参考。一、应注意教材的修订新教材主要在以下几方面进行了修订:1.概念的引入更符合学生认识规律。新教材首先列举学生日常生活中的具体事例,以建立对圆的感性认识,然后充分利用学生在小学已学过的圆的有关知识,从学生比较熟悉的画圆开始,通过描述画圆的过程给出了圆的描述性定义,接着在这个基础上利用点的集合的观点,揭示了圆的本质属性,又从集合观点给出圆的定义。这样既适应了学生认识上的过渡,又为进一步研究圆的性质作了准备。
