本刊曾于2005年第10期以较大的篇幅报道过翼城县两板村党支部书记李鸿海用生命践诺党的宗旨、入党时誓言的先进事迹。如今,随着省内外新闻媒体对李鸿海一心为公、一心为民事迹的传播,李鸿海的名字已被全国更多的人们所熟知。同时,他的事迹也被全国更多的人们因感动而所传诵和敬佩。今天,我们编发《我心目中的李鸿海》等数篇文稿,既在表达我们对这位新时期农村党支部书记的崇高敬意,也在有助于读者从感性和理性上更多地认识李鸿海的为人做事及其执著坚守的精神世界。诚如文中所述,“李鸿海是一面镜子,是一面旗帜”。在“这一面镜子”前,我们每一位共产党员都应“照一照”自己的言行,看是否合乎有关保持共产党员先进性的要求和标准;面对“这面旗帜”,我们的共产党员特别是党员领导干部都应扪心自问:我是否坚守着党的信念和理想?我是否忠实地践行了党的宗旨和“三个代表”重要思想?我是否用生命践诺了入党时的誓言?也诚如文中所愿,我们热切地期待着李鸿海式的共产党员和党员干部能够愈来愈多地出现在我们这块古老且焕发着蓬勃生机的大地上。
