纳米技术不仅改变着人类生活的面貌,同时也在影响着未来战争的模式。利用纳米技术研制出的纳米级武器,书写着未来全新的战争形式——纳米级战争。纳米技术被用在武器研制上,首先是将使武器制造材料发生革命性变革。比如科学家正在研制的碳纳米管材料,其密度是钢的1/6,强度却是钢的100倍。用它来制作防弹背心,是再好不过的了。又如科学家正在研究用金属纳米材料颗粒粉体制成块状金属材料,其强度比一般金属高十几倍,而且像橡胶一样富于弹性。科学家计划不久就能制造出纳米钢材和纳米铝材,并用它们制造坦克、战机、战舰和火炮等
