在最近20余年里诞生并发展的互联网,造就了社会传播领域里的极大震荡。它给人类社会带来的是革命性的变化。在传媒业,互联网以对信息的处理、存储和传递的超凡能力显示出它将成为其他媒体不可小视的全新媒体。被人们称为“第四媒体”的互联网,明显地改变了媒介生态,媒体生存空间里原有的规则将重新调整,随之而来的将是市场和利益的重新分配。这让传统的媒介感受到了巨大的潜在的竞争压力。
The Internet, which was born and developed in the last two decades, has created tremendous turmoil in the field of social communication. What it brings to human society is a revolutionary change. In the media industry, the extraordinary ability of the Internet to process, store and deliver information has shown that it will be a brand new media not to be underestimated by other media outlets. What is known as the “fourth media” has obviously changed the media ecology. The original rules in the media’s living space will be readjusted, with the consequent redistribution of markets and interests. This makes the traditional media feel huge potential competitive pressure.
