加拿大Thunder Bay工厂制造了一种Hawker Siddeley型双层客车(图1),经静强度试验和最初的运行试验之后,第一列双和大多数北美双层客车相反,该双层客车采用了取消长走廊的设计原则,选用了转向架之上为中层客室转向架之间为双层客室的双层客车结构。当确定相同的客车定员后,这种设计可以具有较高的内顶板,并有较好的座椅、楼梯和车门装置。HS型双层客车的设计特点是,不仅能提供适合于干线运层客车将通过多伦多市,并在Go Transit的Lakeshore线上进行短期运行。
The Thunder Bay, Canada, factory built a Hawker Siddeley double-decker bus (Figure 1). After the static strength test and initial run test, the first row was double-decker as most North American double-decker buses, Long corridor design principles, the choice of the bogie on the middle of the bunk for the double passenger room double-deck bus structure. When determining the same passenger car capacity, this design can have a higher interior roof, and have better seats, stairs and door devices. The HS double-decker bus is designed to provide not only short-term suitability for trunk transit buses to travel through Toronto, but also on the Lakeshore line in Go Transit.
