高层管理团队是企业内部拥有最终决策权的团体,高管团队的战略决策将影响公司的经营绩效。本文利用2010—2013年沪深两市上市金融公司经营绩效指标——托宾Q值与总资产收益率(ROA),分别从金融业上市公司全样本和银行、证券业两个子样本层面,从高管团队整体特征与CEO个人特征两个角度研究分析中国上市金融公司高管背景特征与公司经营绩效的关系,结果发现高管整体特征与CEO个人特征对金融上市公司经营绩效均有影响,且高管特征对金融业全样本及银行、证券子样本的经营绩效影响各有不同。
The top management team is the group that has the final decision-making power within the enterprise. The strategic decision of the top management team will affect the company’s operating performance. In this paper, we use the Tobin’s Q value and return on total assets (ROA), the performance indicators of listed financial companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2013, from the total sample of financial listed companies and the two subsamples of bank and securities industry, from The overall characteristics of senior management team and the personal characteristics of CEO study and analyze the relationship between the background characteristics of listed financial companies and corporate performance in China and find that the overall characteristics of CEOs and CEO personal characteristics have an impact on the financial performance of listed companies The characteristics of senior executives have different effects on the overall performance of the financial industry and the operating performance of banks and securities subscales.
