自磺胺类药及抗菌素发現以来,許多严重危害人类的传染病已逐漸被控制。可是,肿瘤却仍在继续剝夺大批人的生命,全球每年因肿瘤死亡的平均約有150万人。在老年人的死亡原因中,肿瘤仅决于心脏血管系统疾病,而居于第二位。并且根据目前的统计资料看来,肿瘤发病率不但沒有減少,相反,許多肿瘤特別是肺癌,正在一年年的增加,而在它的治疗方面,迄今仍无理想的方法。外科手术及放射治疗,虽能解决肿瘤治疗的部分問題,但因設备及操作均較复杂,且有一定的条件限制,并不能够滿足当前的需要。已有的抗癌药也多不能令人滿意,因此进一步研究新的抗癌药物,有着重大的意义。

The average number of cancer deaths worldwide each year is about 1.5 million. In the causes of death of the elderly, the tumor is only determined by the disease of the cardiovascular system, and it ranks second. According to the current statistical data, the incidence of tumors has not only not been reduced. On the contrary, many tumors, especially lung cancer, are increasing year by year. In terms of its treatment, there is still no ideal method. Surgery and radiation therapy can solve some of the problems of cancer treatment, but due to the complex equipment and operation, and certain conditions, they cannot meet current needs. The existing anti-cancer drugs are also unsatisfactory. Therefore, it is of great significance to further study new anti-cancer drugs.
