Objective To explore the application effect of video mission in orthokeratology lens fitting. Methods 60 patients (120 eyes) orthokeratology patients were randomly divided into control group and study group, 30 cases (60 eyes) each. The control group adopted the traditional oral mission and demonstration mission, and the research team cooperated with the video mission on this basis. To observe the two groups of patients with orthokeratology lens-related knowledge of the grasp of the situation and the fitting service satisfaction, operating proficiency, corneal epithelial defects. Results After wearing glasses for 1 week, the questionnaire survey on the theoretical knowledge of orthokeratology patients found that 18 cases were mastered in the research group, 12 cases were partially mastered and 0 cases were not mastered. There were 9 masters in the control group and 18 masters in some cases 3 cases, the study group’s knowledge of mastery was significantly better than the control group (U = 2.281, P <0.05). Satisfaction survey of patients after 1 week wearing glasses found that: the study group was satisfied with 20 cases, generally 10 cases, not satisfied with 0 cases; control group satisfied with 10 cases, generally 19 cases, not satisfied with 1 case, the study group satisfaction Degree was significantly higher than the control group (U = 2.311, P <0.05). The operation time of the study group was (18.63 ± 3.74), (13.63 ± 3.01) and (10.83 ± 2.57) min on the first day, and the first and the fourth day of wearing the microscope. The operation time of the control group was (21.00 ± 3.68) (17.47 ± 3.18) and (12.80 ± 2.90) min respectively. The operation time of the study group at each time point was significantly shorter than that of the control group (P <0.05). Corneal epithelial lesions were mild in both groups, with no grade III or IV patients. Corneal epithelial injury was lower in the study group than in the control group at each time point (P <0.05). Conclusion Video mission is conducive to improve the patient’s knowledge of the orthokeratology mastery degree of proficiency and proficiency in operation, improve patient satisfaction.
