毛澤東同志一九五五年七月三十一日在中央召集的省委、市委和區黨委書記會議上所作的關於農業合作化問題的報告,總結了我國多年的農業合作化運動的經驗,着重地批判了目前黨內在發展農業合作化問題上的主要錯誤思想卽右傾思想,而就農業合作化的必要和可能、合作化的具體道路和步驟、領導合作化的工作方法等等一系列的問題,作了綱領性的指示。毛澤東同志的指示,使得全黨同志能够在思想上和組織上有準備地去迎接農村的社會主義羣眾運動的高潮,而在現在這個重大的歷史轉變開頭得以避免重大的錯誤。
