Chinese traditional culture left us a vast collection of books. “For ordinary people in the modern age, learning traditional culture, an” Analects of Confucius “and an article entitled” Lao Tzu “is enough!” Zhang Qizhi, a famous scholar and historian, said in an interview with a reporter. On December 17, Professor Zhang Qizhi made a special lecture on “China’s Traditional Culture and 21st Century World Culture” at the “Guangzhou Pulpit.” The essence of traditional culture can transcend time and space 76-year-old Professor Zhang Qizhi is a famous expert on the history of Chinese cultural thought. Studying Chinese traditional culture has been more than 50 years. When talking about the essence and modern value of traditional ideology and culture, Zhang Qizhi said: “The theme of traditional culture is to discuss the relationship between Heaven and humanity. For example, Lao Tzu’s proposal of ’nature is natural and inhumanity’ is about the harmony between man and nature Unified. Confucian Xun Zi put forward the ’paradise, humane this’ is about nature and people should have the function of division of labor, and people can participate in the natural changes among them, for their own self-interest. ”In Professor Zhang’s view, The CPC Central Committee’s strategic thinking on coordinated development and sustainable development is consistent with China’s traditional humanitarian thinking. “Although traditional culture was born in an agricultural society, its essence transcends the times and is still closely linked to modern society.”
