毛泽东同志青少年时期曾与许多同窗结下了深厚情谊。解放后，一些同学纷纷给毛泽东写信，有的想通过他介绍工作，有的则想解决生活上的困难。毛泽东均一一回信，对他们的生活尽量给予同志式的帮助和照顾；但对他们请他介绍工作的要求，则未轻易答应，并予婉言谢绝。毛泽东写给他们的书信，体现出一个革命领袖坚持原则，克己奉公，为政清廉的高尚风貌。 Comrade Mao Tse-tung had many deep feelings with his classmates in his youth. After the liberation, some students wrote to Mao Zedong one after another, some wanted to introduce his work through him, while others wanted to solve the difficulties in life. Mao Zedong sent back a reply one by one, trying to give his comrades the help and care of their lives. However, they were not readily agreed upon by them and asked him to decline them politely. The correspondences written by Mao Zedong to them reflect the noble appearance of a revolutionary leader who sticks to the principle of self-denying and serving the government and cleanliness.
