To address the remaining unknown issues in the Department of Defense hypersonic study, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has proposed a new Integrated Hypertonic (IH) program that will continue to develop programs that will allow the U.S. military to strike anywhere in the world within 1 h Local, hypersonic flight techniques with a Mach number of 20.
