省委、省政府召开的全省林业工作会议,在党的十三届七中全会精神的指导下,认真总结了我省“七五”林业生产建设的成绩和经验,讨论制定了我省林业发展十年规划和“八五”计划,研究讨论了关系到云南林业发展的几个重大政策性文件。这次会议,是一次兴林富滇的动员大会,也是一次为加速云南绿化步伐献计献策的大会。会议的圆满成功,预示着我省林业生产建设,即将进入一个新阶段。省委、省政府之所以在这样的时机来召开这样的会议,其原因在于,作为独立产业的林业,在国民经济中,具有举足轻重的地位。森林不仅是一笔宝贵的财富,而且是农业的屏障,和人类赖以生存的基本条件。我省山区面积占总面积的94％,有林地1.4亿多亩,素有“植物王国”、“动物王国”的美称,发展林业的潜力很大;从地理位置讲,我省又是长江、澜沧江、珠江、怒江、红河的发源地或上游,水
Under the guidance of the spirit of the 7th Plenary Session of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the provincial government, the provincial forestry work conference conscientiously summed up the achievements and experiences of forestry production and construction in the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” of our province and discussed the formulation of the forestry To develop the 10-year plan and the “Eighth Five-Year Plan”, to study and discuss several major policy documents related to the development of forestry in Yunnan Province.
