The Amold Arboretum of Harvard University,located in the Jamaica Plain and Roslindale sections of Boston,is famous for its collection and scientific study of ligneous species in North America and easte Asia.In the 140-year history of the Arboretum (established in 1872),it has built a strong connection with Chinese botany and Chinese botanists,which can be traced back to over a hundred years ago.
