●在激烈的传媒竞争中,报纸还是要扬长避短,凸显自己的优势和不可替代性。报纸要强调有用信息,通过精选精编,有机整合,把最有价值的信息呈现给读者。●由于新媒体发展快,竞争激烈,缺乏成熟稳定的赢利模式,所以赢利能力较弱,目前还处于成长期,还不能“反哺”报纸。但可以预测,新媒体代表着报业的未来,现在看这个“路线图”越来越清晰。●我对互联网的发展非常关注,发现其中有一个规律:从论坛到博客、再到微博、微信,大约每三年就会兴起一种新的网络应用工具。新闻工作者应该跟上互联网发展潮流,积极运用新的传播工具。●报纸有可能将新闻做精、做深、做透,这应该成为互联网时代报纸的核心竞争力。所以我很早就提出,报纸应该从“新闻纸”变为“思想纸”“观点纸”。

Newspapers should emphasize useful information, through the selection of fine editing, organic integration, the most valuable information presented to the reader. ● Due to the rapid development of new media, fierce competition and the lack of a mature and stable profit-making model, the profitability of the new media is weak. It is still in its infancy and can not be repayed. However, it can be predicted that the new media represents the future of the newspaper industry. Now it is becoming clear that the “road map” is becoming clearer. ● I am very concerned about the development of the Internet and find that there is a certain law: From forums to blogs to Weibo and WeChat, a new web application tool will emerge about every three years. Journalists should keep up with the Internet development trend and actively use new communication tools. ● The newspaper may be fine, deep and thorough, which should become the core competitiveness of newspapers in the Internet age. So I put forward very early that newspapers should change from “newsprint ” to “thought paper ” “viewpoint paper ”.
