社会环境对企业的行为和职责起着决定性的作用，环境的变化势必要求企业的职责发生变化。近２０年来，我国的社会环境发生了深刻的变化，在政治、法律、经济、文化、自然等方面均有了突出的改变。面对变化了的社会环境，企业的社会责任应该而且也必须做出调整，即保留一些基本的社会责任，如纳税、吸收就业和满足社会需要；取消一些本不应由企业承担的社会责任，如养老、医疗、住房、办学等；增加一些新环境所要求承担的责任，如适当的政治责任、明确的法律责任、硬性的环保责任和必要的社会公益责任等。
The social environment plays a decisive role in the company’s behavior and responsibilities. Changes in the environment will inevitably require changes in the company’s responsibilities. In the past 20 years, China’s social environment has undergone profound changes and has made outstanding changes in politics, law, economy, culture, and nature. In the face of a changing social environment, corporate social responsibility should and must also be adjusted, that is, retain some basic social responsibilities, such as paying taxes, absorbing employment and meeting social needs, and eliminating some social responsibilities that should not have been undertaken by companies. Such as old-age care, medical care, housing, school education, etc.; add some responsibilities required by the new environment, such as appropriate political responsibilities, clear legal responsibilities, rigid environmental responsibilities and necessary social responsibilities.
