Zhao Licheng is the first Suona horn player of the CentralNationalities Orchestra. He is composed, but energetic, sim-ple and ordinary, but proficient in national music. In 1960, he joined the Central Nationalities Orchestra.Since then he has had a souna horn as his companion, working quietly forChina’s national music. I have been swimming in the sea of national orchestral music for 35 years ,“ Zhao said. ”It is our national culture that hascultiveated my character.
