Today teaching oral communicative skills has gradually become an acknowledged approach in China.As English teachers,we should create a spoken English learning environment and encourage students to practice more.This paper advances the necessity of oral skills teaching in the classroom.While teaching,we should be aware of the cultural differences between the east and the west and find appropriate methods to engage learners in appropriate conversations.Then we can achieve the final purpose of teaching the target language.
