After the war of resistance against Japan broke out, a large number of Japanese combat aircraft invaded China’s airspace. They wantonly and domineeringly. A large number of Chinese people were killed and wounded. In cities such as Chongqing in particular, after the Japanese plane air raid, tens of thousands of people were killed and countless treasures were destroyed. Just as the Chinese air force and Japanese aircraft fought bloody combat in the air, a group of U.S. volunteers led by the United States veteran pilot Chennault also came to China for help. The United States volunteers call themselves “Flying Tigers,” who rely heavily on their technology to give the Japanese a heavy blow. Later, “Flying Tigers” was replaced by the US 14th Air Force. The 14th Air Force is still under the command of General Chennault who has been promoted to General. The 75th Squadron, belonging to the 23 Fighter Group, is stationed in China’s Hengyang Airport and is responsible for the air operations in that area.
