人过了四十岁左右,臀部肌肉会逐渐萎缩、下垂,大腿变瘦,下半身越来越单薄。下半身肌肉一旦衰退,就会出现体力变差、容易疲倦等症状。随之而来的,可能就是高血压、心脏病、糖尿病、肥胖症、高血脂症、痛风、癌症等慢性病。日本著名学者石原结实博士提出,应该注意“锻炼下半身”问题。他指出,人体的肌肉约占体重40%,其中70%以上的肌肉集中在下半身。如果下半身的肌肉开始衰退,就会出现各种病兆,身体也会开始老化。
