为解决我国铁路无交流电源区段新型信号系统小站集中的需要,提高线路通过能力,改善运营条件,适合战备要求,齐齐哈尔铁路局在郑州铁路局的启发下,于1965年开始研究液压转辙机(液压道岔),在三结合小组同志们的共同努力下,研究工作取得了很大进展,经几年来的反复试验、改进,1972年试制的两台转辙机出厂,同年5月安装在白阿线葛根庙车站,9月份开始运营试验,经过一年多的运用和严冬的考验,其构造和技术性能基本符合部定要求。
