今年5月14日,著名古建专家罗哲文先生因病离世,享年88岁。追悼会场,悬挂着这样的挽联:“修长城修故宫参襄国徽设计无愧文物卫士,护名城护运河舍身文化遗产堪称古建护神”。有人评价他是万里长城第一人、有人激赏他对京杭大运河保护所作出的杰出贡献,但罗老与赵州桥那份剪不断的情缘却鲜为人知。
May 14 this year, the famous ancient architect Luo Zhewen died of illness, at the age of 88.
