The authors reviewed the clinical and pathological data of 54 cases of upper urinary tract transitional cell carcinoma collected from RPMI (Roswell Park Memorial Institu-te) between January 1970 and December 1985 and re-examined all patient pathological sections. The degree of tumor differentiation is divided into 1 to 4 levels. Grade 1 is a well-differentiated tumor; Grade 2 is a moderately differentiated grade; Grade 3 is poorly differentiated; Grade 4 is poorly differentiated or is called an interstitial. At the same time, based on the UICC recommendations, use the new TNM staging method recommended by AJCC.
