诗人、文学翻译家、研究员邹绛同志,因病医治无效,于1月9日在四川重庆逝世,享年74岁。邹绛同志原名邹德鸿,1922年3月18日生于四川五通桥。1937年开始写诗,次年发表诗作。1944年毕业于武汉大学外文系,回五通桥、乐山、万县、重庆等地教书。参与创办《水星文艺》和编辑诗丛《火烧的山》。解放初,曾在西南人民艺术学院文学乐、西南军区师范学校任教。1951年参加中国民主同盟。1951—1963年先后做过《西南
Comrade Zou Jiang, a poet, literary translator and researcher, died at the age of 74 on January 9 in Chongqing, Sichuan on the 9th due to invalid medical treatment.
