Since the Tang Dynasty, there have been many roads including the Qinghai-Tibet Road and the Sichuan-Tibet Road between Han and Tibet in the Central Plains. The envoy’s access roads to Tibet during the Ming dynasty were primarily Qinghai-Tibet Road and Sichuan-Tibet Road in the middle and late Qing dynasty. The road, the envoys of the Ming Dynasty, also traveled through Western Regions Road and Yunnan-Tibet Road into Tibet. The rise and fall of the transportation between Han and Tibetan in the Ming Dynasty was mainly influenced by the political and economic factors. The military activities and the spread of Tibetan Buddhism also affected the revival of the road. The influence of geographical factors on the traffic between the two countries continued to diminish. Traffic network pattern laid the foundation for future generations of Han and Tibetan traffic and have a profound impact.
