随着人群从教堂出来,人行道上还拥挤着许多姐妹、我匆匆向她们告别,坐上一辆“面的”。司机问我:“今天是什么节日?”“不是节日,这儿有一个特殊的聚会。你不见从教堂里出来的绝大多数是妇女吗? 今天(3月3日)全世界基督教妇女分别在各地聚会,祈求世界和平,人际关系(包括家庭)和睦,大地生态和谐。”我这样概括地回答着,脑子里又重现刚才教堂里的一幕幕。离礼拜开始的时间还有一刻钟,能容纳500人的北京缸瓦市教堂里已经座无虚席,后来的人陆续张开马扎坐在座席或圣台的旁边;甚至有的姐妹们只得坐进旁边的副堂,随着闭路电视参加礼拜,总计约700人。她们来自本市各个区、县,不同行业和不同民族。这里有丰台区的中学老师;有从通县赶来的老大姐;有西城区的大夫;还有穿着美丽的民族服装来参加聚会的朝鲜族姐妹。坐在前排的是来自全国各地出席全国政协八届三次会议的基督教界委员,其中
