一个人的知识水平和工作能力,是在长期的实践中,通过学习和锻炼不断提高的。职务的变化,只能说是工作形势的需要。职务不是衡量一个人水平和能力高低的唯一标志。由于我们过去的干部人事制度不尽合理,大才小用,有才能不得施展的情况,固然存在,但不多,更多的是感到自己的知识、能力不能适应工作的需要。因此,不能以为今天某人是个一般干部,他的水平就一般;明天当上了领导干部,他的水平就马上变高了。特别是“任人唯亲”的封建传统观念还在一些人中起着作用的时候,更不能说职务高就等于水平也高。有自知之明的领导者,都有这样的体会:职务越高越感到自己的知识和能力不足。因此,尊重下级,遇事取虚心求教的态度,就显得十分重要。
