(一)前言北京型3142号机车曾于1981年9月至1982年3月在大连内燃机车试验台上进行了全面的牵引热工性能试验。该型机车在线路运行期间,我们曾对包括3142号机车在内的六台北京型机车作了运用负荷率的调查,发现机车柴油机的水温普遍较低,均在70℃以下。在3142号机车进入试验台后的典型工况试验中(为初步了解该机车性能而进行的非正式牵引性能试验),我们亦发现水温偏低的情况。如机车以16手把位持续速度稳定运转,当环境气温控制在27~30℃时,高温风扇转速为1111转/分,柴油机出口水温为68℃;当环境气温为39~40℃时,高温风扇转速为1437~1448转/分,
