When the U.S. Marines entered a deserted hut in Fallujah, Iraq, they searched for an abandoned puppy. Although military regulations prohibit the keeping of pets, the soldiers used kerosene and chewing tobacco to get rid of puppies fleas and parasites, and feed them full with ready-to-eat rations. Dramatic salvation took place: Marines tried to rescue the puppy named Lava, and Puppy Rava also rescued Captain Jay Copman, who was caught in the emotional trauma of the war. From resolute soldiers to war correspondents to Iraqi civilians in deep danger, “Baghdad has love” tells an unforgettable truth story. The protagonists in this story all unexpectedly learned the meaning of life, death and war from a dirty, flea-covered puppy.
