喜欢明星无可厚非,然而走过了头就会生出悲哀!少男少女们可要当心啊!
You are a fan of a pop star. You enjoy his films and CDs. You want to see his pictures make the newspaper headlines (标题) every day. It’s common for teenagers to be crazy about famous people. But love sometimes can turn into hate if you cross the line, like 28-year-old Yang Lijuan did.
The young woman from Gansu Province has been crazy about Andy Lau since she was 15. Believing they had a special relation, she stopped going to school and spent all of her time trying to meet Andy.
To follow her dream, Yang spent every penny. Her family sold their only house and her father even sold one of his kidneys (肾). Last month Yang finally took a picture with Andy in Hong Kong. But she said her life-long dream didn’t come true as Andy refused to have a private talk with her.
Feeling very hopeless, Yang’s father wrote a letter blaming Andy and killed himself. But the father’s death didn’t wake up the woman, she still insisted that Andy should meet her again.
Yang’s story caused much debate(争执) around China. Many stars took Andy’s side. “Live a good life for yourself before loving me,” said Song Jia, a Chinese film star.
A survey among Guangdong high school students found that most fans don’t see everything their idols (偶像) do as right and they separate their lives from those of their idols.
Michael Athans, an American psychologist (心理学家) said that it’s normal for teens to admire the idols for their good looks, successful career and struggle spirit. “But it would turn into trouble when you spend too much time thinking of them, making plans to meet them or get away from real people,” he warned.
