[Finishing Instructions] This is Ding Ling’s review and explanation on “In the Hospital,” written about in the second half of 1942. The manuscript has two parts: one is the fountain pen, that is, the text below the first two subheadings, written on the lined notebook paper, positive and negative pages totaling four sides; the rest are pencil drafts, Left and right columns to write a total of thirty-three surface. Due to the age, smear changes more, most of the original is written in pencil, so many local writing is not clear. In addition to these drafts are not marked page number, how the convergence between the upper and lower pages also took a lot of brains. I just copy and transcribe the manuscripts according to my own understanding and speculation. The principles are: First, all are recorded as they are; Second, the typos are generally not modified. Some of the typos are marked in [] in bold. Third, in order to help researchers understand the thinking of Ding Ling when writing, some deleted The text was also restored in [...] in bold letters and illustrated in italics. 4. The subheadings in the manuscript were a bit messy, and here they are still old; the order is now based on the contents of the third section There are three at the beginning, all the following recorded. The reader may note that the text in italics are all transcribe the caption. - Wang Zengru
