褐飞虱(Nilaparvatazlugens Stal是水稻上的重要害虫,在上海地区不能越冬,每年从热带、亚热带地区通过季风迁入上海。为了掌握褐飞虱的发生动态,指导褐飞虱抗性品种的选育及其防治,我们从1979年开展了对褐飞虱生物型的监测工作。方法是用国际水稻研究所提供的具有不同抗性基因的品种(表1),种在种子箱中,每品种15粒种子,待苗出齐后于一叶一心期去除弱苗,留壮苗10株,二叶一心期按每苗接入5头2~3龄若虫,重复3次,按国际水稻研究所提出的标准评级系统评价各品种对褐飞虱的反应。测定结果见表2。结果表明,1991年以前,褐
