一、前言耦合腔行波管的大信号计算方法,已有很多人加以研究,发表的文章也不少,业已达到实用的阶段。作者曾采用其中的一些方法计算了工作在不同电平的几支管子,并对计算结果进行分析比较,发现Connolly提出的行波法理论上比较严格,所得结果也较符合实际。本文简单介绍作者所编的行波程序的理论依据和计算结果。所谓行波法,就是将耦合腔慢波线中传播的电磁场用无穷多个传播的空间谐波场来替代,电子流就是和这些行波场相互作用。Connolly提出的大信号行波计算方法,是以
I. INTRODUCTION The large-signal calculation method of coupled cavity TWT has been studied by many people. Many articles have been published and have reached a practical stage. The authors have used some of these methods to calculate the number of tubes working at different levels and analyzed and compared the calculated results. They found that the traveling wave method proposed by Connolly is more rigorous in theory and the results obtained are more realistic. This article briefly introduces the theoretical basis and calculation results of the traveling program compiled by the author. The so-called traveling wave method is that the electromagnetic field propagating in the slow wave line of the coupling cavity is replaced by an infinite number of space harmonic fields propagating, which is the interaction with these traveling wave fields.
