胡锦涛总书记“6·25”重要讲话明确指出,中国特色社会主义,是当代中国发展进步的旗帜,是全党全国各族人民团结奋斗的旗帜。我们必须始终不渝地坚持以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入贯彻落实科学发展观,毫不动摇地坚持和发展中国特色社会主义。为了实现这一伟大目标,总书记还向我们提出:解放思想,必须坚定不移地加以坚持;改革开放,必须坚定不移地加以推进;科学发展,社会和谐,必须坚定不移地加以落实;全面建设小康社会,必须坚定不移地为之奋斗。做到这四个坚定不移,对保持党和国家事业的顺利发展的大局至关重要。
