技术表演赛首创于鞍钢第三炼钢厂，后经中共辽宁省委总结推广，为沈阳等地冶金、机电系统的厂矿企业广泛试验运用，收效显著。实践证明，技术表演赛的确是一个促进技术革新和技术命命深入发展，组织全体职工发挥革命干劲，互相学习，取长补短，全面跃进，使增产节约运动不断向前发展的好方法。现将沈阳第一机床厂在推广技术表演赛方面的初步经验总结，摘要发表，供大家参考。
The technical exhibition match was first created at the No. 3 Steel-making Plant of Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. After being summarized and promoted by the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, it has been extensively tested and applied by factories and mines in metallurgy and electromechanical systems in Shenyang and other places, and has achieved remarkable results.
