The Pontong copper deposit occurs in the Si Bao Group, the oldest Proterozoic in the northern Guangxi, China. The ore body is vein-shaped in the surrounding rock of the Pangdong granite porphyry and its outer contact zone and is affected by NNE The structure control to the fracture fissures is obvious. The ore is disseminated with vein veins and massive structures. The average grade of the ore is Cu0.785-1.748%. The ore minerals are mainly chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, Local associated galena, sphalerite and gangue minerals include quartz, sericite, chlorite and biotite. The alteration of wall rocks is mainly quartz sericitization and chloritization, pyrite mineralization and silicification It is considered that magmatic hydrothermal fluid is used to fill vein-type deposits.
