在2000年中国嘉德的秋季拍卖会上,一幅被称作“迄今为止最旧的一件书画拍品”的唐朝怀素的草书《食鱼帖》,终因未到1,000万元的起拍价而不幸流拍了,十分令人遗憾!怀素(公元737-799年),字藏真,本姓钱,永州零陵(今湖南零陵)人。怀素是中国历史上杰出的书法家,以其“狂草”著名,史称“草圣”。他用笔圆劲有力,奔放流畅,一气呵成。后世将其并与张旭齐名,有“张癫素狂”或“癫张醉素”之称。怀素也能做诗,与李白、杜甫等诗人都有交往。
